Hello, my name is Chad Bates. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site and learn more about myself and my photography. I’m a 21 year old part time photographer, full time coffee drinker from Greene, Maine. The title Roswell Photography came from the love of my middle name and is one I hope to make well known for anyone looking for a dedicated photographer.
Photography, to me, has been a journey with no destination, a professor without a final and a job with endless rewards. I love the constant skill development that comes with each photography session and talking with other photographers. I enjoy working with people and presenting them with a finished product that we both can be proud of and it is a source of joy that I would like to utilize in my everyday life.
Attention to details and capturing the important moments are always my top goals when shooting for a client. Photographs offer the chance to travel back to a moment, otherwise lost to the passing of time and experience the emotion captured in it. I always reference the great Ansel Adams when he said, "There are always two people in every picture: the photographer and the viewer." Knowing your audience is always important, but knowing your photographer is even more so. So thank you, again, for getting to know me.
